1. Refund Eligibility
GoLearnam offers refunds on course purchases under specific conditions designed to ensure fairness to both students and instructors. To be eligible for a refund, your request must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase date. In addition to this time requirement, you must not have completed more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the course content — including lessons watched, documents accessed, and quizzes attempted — at the time your refund request is submitted. These criteria are in place to ensure that refunds are only granted when a student has had limited exposure to the course and has a genuine reason for dissatisfaction, rather than after consuming a substantial portion of the educational material. Courses that are marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase are explicitly excluded from this policy, and free courses or courses obtained through promotional codes or special offers may also be ineligible for refunds depending on the specific terms of those offers.
2. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please contact our support team by sending an email to info@golearnam.com. Your email should include your full name, the email address associated with your GoLearnam account, the name of the course for which you are requesting a refund, your transaction ID or payment reference number (which can be found in your payment confirmation email or in your dashboard under Payment History), and a brief explanation of the reason for your refund request. While providing a reason is not strictly mandatory, it helps us improve our platform and course offerings. Our support team will review your request and verify that it meets the eligibility criteria described above. We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within two (2) business days of receipt. If your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email, and the refund will be processed using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction.
3. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved by our team, we will initiate the refund process promptly. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your payment method and your financial institution. For credit and debit card payments, refunds are typically processed within five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval, though some banks or card networks may take longer to reflect the credit on your statement. For mobile money payments, refunds are generally processed within three (3) to seven (7) business days. Please note that GoLearnam does not control the speed at which your bank or payment provider processes returned funds, and these timelines are estimates rather than guarantees. If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, we recommend first checking with your bank or payment provider before contacting our support team for further assistance.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
There are certain circumstances under which refunds will not be granted, regardless of the time elapsed since purchase. Refund requests submitted after the seven-day eligibility window has passed will not be processed. Similarly, refund requests for courses in which you have already completed more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the content will not be approved. If your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you will not be eligible for a refund on any purchases made prior to or during the period leading up to your account termination. Courses purchased as part of a bundle or promotional offer may have different refund terms clearly stated at the time of purchase. Additionally, any course explicitly marked as 'non-refundable' at the point of sale is excluded from this policy. We encourage you to take advantage of any free preview content available for courses before making your purchasing decision.
5. Installment Plan Refunds
If you purchased a course using an installment payment plan, refund requests are subject to the same eligibility criteria as standard purchases — namely, that the request is made within seven (7) calendar days of the first installment payment and that you have not completed more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the course content. If a refund is approved for a course purchased on an installment plan, we will refund only the installment amounts that have already been paid at the time the refund is processed. Future installment payments that have not yet been charged will be cancelled, and no further amounts will be collected. Any installment payments made for course access that has already been consumed may be subject to a partial deduction based on the proportion of content accessed. Our support team will provide a detailed breakdown of any applicable deductions when communicating a refund decision for installment plan purchases.
