By accessing, browsing, or using any part of the GoLearnam platform — including our website, mobile applications, course content, and related services — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not permitted to use our platform and should discontinue access immediately. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including registered students, tutors, and any visitors who browse without creating an account. We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this document and, for significant changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the platform after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Account Registration
To access the full features of GoLearnam, including enrolling in courses and tracking your learning progress, you must create a personal account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to update that information as necessary to keep it accurate. You must be at least 16 years of age to register an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it. You agree not to share your account with others or allow any third party to access the platform through your credentials. If you suspect that your account has been compromised or accessed without your authorization, you must notify us immediately at info@golearnam.com so that we can take appropriate steps to secure your account. GoLearnam reserves the right to refuse account registration or cancel existing accounts at our discretion.
3. Acceptable Use
GoLearnam is an educational platform intended to provide high-quality learning experiences for all users. By using our platform, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with the purpose of the platform. You are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities: sharing your account login credentials with others, downloading or redistributing course content — including videos, documents, and materials — without explicit written permission, attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, probe, or disrupt the technical systems underlying the platform, posting, transmitting, or distributing content that is false, defamatory, harassing, offensive, or otherwise harmful to other users or third parties, using automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or other tools to collect data from the platform without authorization, impersonating another person, company, or entity, or engaging in any activity that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of GoLearnam or any third party. Violation of these acceptable use standards may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, without refund, as well as potential legal action if warranted.
4. Course Content & Intellectual Property
All content available on the GoLearnam platform — including but not limited to video lessons, audio recordings, written materials, presentations, quizzes, assessments, graphics, and software — is the intellectual property of GoLearnam or of the individual course creators and instructors who have licensed their content to us. This content is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. When you purchase or enroll in a course, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and view that course content solely for your own individual, non-commercial learning purposes. This license does not entitle you to download, copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sublicense, sell, or create derivative works based on any course content, unless you have received explicit written authorization from GoLearnam. Any unauthorized use of our content is a violation of these terms and may result in legal action. If you believe that any content on our platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at info@golearnam.com with the relevant details so that we may investigate.
5. Payments & Refunds
The prices for courses and other paid services on GoLearnam are displayed in the applicable currency at the time of purchase and are subject to change without prior notice. We accept a variety of payment methods, as shown at the checkout stage, including credit and debit cards and mobile money options where available. All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment partners. In the event of a payment failure or dispute, you should contact our support team for assistance. Installment payment plans are available for selected courses, allowing you to spread the cost over an agreed number of scheduled payments. If you choose an installment plan, you are committing to completing all installments on time; failure to make a scheduled payment may result in a temporary suspension of your access to the relevant course content until the outstanding amount is settled. Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our Refund Policy, which is available separately on our platform. We encourage you to review the course details thoroughly before completing your purchase.
6. Limitation of Liability
GoLearnam provides its platform and all educational content on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis. While we make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy, quality, and availability of our content and services, we make no warranties or representations of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — regarding the platform or its content, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the use of our platform will result in specific learning outcomes, career advancement, employment, salary improvements, professional certifications, or any other particular results. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoLearnam and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Termination
Either you or GoLearnam may terminate your account and your access to the platform at any time. You may close your account by contacting us at info@golearnam.com or by using the account deletion option in your profile settings, if available. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to: violation of these Terms of Service, engaging in fraudulent or illegal activity, behavior that is harmful to other users or to the platform, or extended periods of account inactivity. Upon termination — whether initiated by you or by us — your license to access any course content associated with your account may be revoked, and you may lose access to all materials, progress records, and certificates tied to your account. GoLearnam is under no obligation to issue refunds upon termination resulting from a breach of these terms. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after your account is closed.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of the GoLearnam platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which GoLearnam operates, without regard to any conflict of law principles that would require the application of laws of a different jurisdiction. In the event of a dispute between you and GoLearnam that cannot be resolved informally through direct communication, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration or submitted to the courts of the applicable jurisdiction, as determined by GoLearnam at its discretion. You agree that any legal proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding, to the extent permitted by law.
